As a teacher, I don't really have the luxury of choosing my students.
So, I'm to be judged by the type of students who attend my class (or
by those who are willing to speak their mind in class)? That seems
pretty fucked up.

It all comes down to personal experiences. Some come away from Korea
with great experiences. Some don't. I've had both, but most of the
problems have been with hagwon owners. Do I generalize that all
Koreans are scamming dishonest assholes? No, just those scamming
dishonest assholes that I had to take to court.

Never generalize.
