You think Japanese cinema is worse than even US cinema (or at least
proportionally), even including the deliberately B grade, or straight to video
stuff? You are even harsher than professional film critics or commentators I
have read?
Meet your new playmate, Ernest. I will only comment on the content of our
previous posts themselves, not the state of Japanese cinema or movies in
general.

Also says something that Japanese will import American crap (cinema or video)
rather than watch their own including the good, and in much larger numbers,

Generally, I like Japanese movies popular in the theaters with Japanese, though
I wait for it to be released on video and rented for 100 yen, though I avoid
kids animation such as stuff from TV shows. I haven't developed a taste for
anything Korean.
