It definitely slows down but not to the point of frustration. (...or
becoming HystERIC....tee hee). I'm not sure why they are so conservative;
perhaps they find this easier than dealing with those people who expect the
latest software to run just as efficiently on an old system as it does on
the newest ones for which it was primarily designed.
