I'm starting to wonder.

How do you recognize inaka in matter of women-only train ? We have had those
thema-cars months after the fashion started in Edo. Brett explained that in
the mega-big city, they have guards checking the boarding. You've seen many
guards like that in Osaka ? In most stations, no station staff would
prevent you from boarding with women.

Well, I assumed that was a geographical difference. It's possible that Brett
is known and they spy him, so the guards are called by telephone as soon as
he leaves his place, and they can arrive on the platform just 2 minutes
before him.
