I have provided an example of how borders are porous and that negative
results aren't containable so that they only affect the people who
started it. Anytime that bad behavior is created, everyone pays the
price. The pronoun refers to people responsible and I don't see that I
was wrong to use that pronoun. Who else was confused by that? Let me know.

China will have to live with America's misdeeds? I didn't see that. I
was answering if you meant China has to live with their own misdeeds and
my answer is yes but that results isn't satisfactory because the cost is
paid by everyone because everything has a ripple effect and using opium
to debilitate the Chinese population ended up hurting everyone.
