Then you haven't been reading enough posts from other posters who do happen to
believe the US Constitution or US legal system with their imperfections, are
the best we have, or even the best they can be, and don't want to presume to
improve upon it.

Knowing the truth also protects the innocent that they not be falsely accused,
and in the best case, it would protect the innocent by preventing certain
crimes from happening in the first place.
