I have a pen-pal in Kawanishi (northeast of Kobe) that is reluctant to
install any anti-virus software or security patches onto her machine
because she is not computer literate, and is scared of breaking things.
That means she is running Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
unpatched and hooked to a DSL line. I helped her get bugbear uninstalled
through e-mail, but can't get her to install any more protections (even
though she wants to). Can anyone recommend a computer shop in the area
that could make a house call and get her up and running on Netscape with
an anti-virus package installed?
