<nihongo@paxonet.kom> belched the alphabet and kept on going with:

>I have a pen-pal in Kawanishi (northeast of Kobe) that is reluctant to
>install any anti-virus software or security patches onto her machine
>because she is not computer literate, and is scared of breaking things.
>That means she is running Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
>unpatched and hooked to a DSL line. I helped her get bugbear uninstalled
>through e-mail, but can't get her to install any more protections (even
>though she wants to). Can anyone recommend a computer shop in the area
>that could make a house call and get her up and running on Netscape with
>an anti-virus package installed?

Couldn't you just help her move to the US and set her up with WebTV?
