Re: Nikon 5700 Vs Olympus E-10 fixed lens
Wow .. Even if I do decide on the 5700 (which has a slight margin over the
others at this point) I didn't even imagine giving up my A-1 or AE-1 for
good!! Especially my 500mm lens (1000 with 2x) I am thinking of the 5700
(or similar) to use a replacement only for some photography not all. I
hadn't even thought of totally abandoning my SLR's!! Now you have made me
cry! haha just kidding... seriously ... you don't use any film since you
purchased a Digital??
As for the Auto Focus problem through the windshield .. I have found this to
be the case even with my wife's Nikon N55 SLR. (either lens). I assume this
problem will only be overcome by the BIG $$$ cameras that focus where your
eye looks. Thats only my obersevation being a old Manual Focus guy, that
never really likes using his wifes N55 because of that exact problem ..
I wanna focus where I wanna focus!
Thanks for the input Ray ... very helpful!!
Digitally overwhelmed,
Dan R.
