With a copy of a Win 98 boot disk copied to a cd already in the reader,
rename the config.sys and autoexec.bat on the c: drive (to config.old and
autoexec.old or similar). Copy the cd to the root of c: and reboot the
computer. It should ask whether you want to start with cd rom support. If
this is successful and you can change to the i: drive (or one letter higher
than your existing cdrom drive letter... h:?),you should be able to insert
the Win 98 CD and type "Setup" to start the process. Are you sure you
wouldn't rather put a larger drive in first (or just chuck the whole thing
in a dumpster)?
