I guess it varies by university, but I got the impression that AssPros
in Japan earned around 700-800k a month. That's in impression picked
up in a national university, so others may be lower and the privates
like Keio and Waseda may be higher.

No seriously, universities are one of the few places where women
have the opportunities to avoid that sort of domination. While I
was at Tokyo Gaidai there was an election among the professoriate
of a new president (we visitors didn't get to vote.) The person
elected was a female professor from AAKen.
