My local supermarkets weren't too bad. Quite a range including
reasonable QBB cheddars. I don't expect a lot of cross-cultural
foods in supermarkets. I won't tell you about the availability
of Greek and Italian ingredients in our local Carrefour when we
were living in France; much less Japanese ones.

Well, dunno about "higher quality", but the 北海道 camembert is quite
good.
