Hi,

I lived in an apartment for about 4 and a half years and as usual they
do not want to give my 2 month deposit back.  This comes to 340,000
yen.

To show their generosity, they are saying that "actually" they should
be charging much more, but they will let that go !

The wooden flooring of the living dining room was a bit "damaged"
because of some rain water.  The wood is still there, it still is
walkable, sittable etc., just that some color has come off due to rain
falling in sometimes from the balcony.

The size of this room was about 13 tatami. And they say it takes
900,000 yen to replace the wooden floor.

Does anybody have any idea how much it actually should take to replace
a wooden floor over 13 tatamis ?
