-- I have never had a problem negotiating on an open price. Just spend a
long long long time and they will always give you a good deal just to get
you out of there shop. When I bought My Panasonic digital camera, it was
listed as open price, and it said, 89 998 and they gave it to me for 78000
after 2 hours, likewise when I bought my guitar it was listed at 180 000 and
I got it for 140 000.

My understanding on Open price was that the manufacturer has yet to specify
a suggested retail price, because it is a new item, but will after a couple
months of sale. I think the stores actually report final sale prices, and
that helps to determine the final suggested retail price. Kind of like a
monitor sale, Panasonic often runs them on their home page.
