So...while you implicity agree that Hirohito, though not officially tried

convicted largely because of the intervention of MacArthur, was complicit in
the war crimes committed by those serving under him, for the sake of
maintaining your "rightness" or preventing the loss of your argument, you
refuse to formally acknowledge him as such so that you can "save face".
