Kaz had some quite interesting and informative things to say (especially

How do you know that? I lived for quite some time among Gypsies. Lots of
non-Gypsies say Gypsies steal, so it would be very easy to say, "Even if I
am honest I will still be called a thief, so I might as well steal." That's
why I respected my Gypsy friends. Being honest when all the world seems to
think they are thieves is not easy.

In your case you say whatever you do Koreans and Tokyo folks will think you
are " a stupid Kansaijin or a barbaric Joppari Midget" just ranting away,
so, basically, you say, "Even if I keep my temper and act calmly I will
still be accused of ranting, so I might as well rant."

Firstly, I don't think you're right. I'll bet there are other Kinai voices
making themselves heard in these kinds of debates that do not immediately
get scorned and insulted. And secondly, even if it is true, if people accuse
you of ranting it isn't exactly a good defence just to go ahead and prove
them right! If you keep calm and don't sink to the same level of insult
there will always be those who respect you.
