Wasps ...oh yea

Here is what I tried once ( only once )

On a warm day take a stick and start jabbing at the nest then start beating 
on the nest.

They will start dropping off like dive bombers..that is your signal to run 
like hell.

In my case I ran around in circles getting stung until somehow I put a 
little distance between me and the nest. ( lucky for me they are not very 
smart )
