It doesn't take much to excite you. I'm sure the PS3 will shape up to be a
fine console but how anyone can be excited about it now (based on what we
currently know and what we've currently seen) is beyond me. Sony put on a
wonderful show at E3 but quickly became a laughing stock shortly after the
media exposed that much of their purported "real time" game presentation was
nothing more than a prerendered movie. What wasn't prerendered (fight
night) suffered from horrible frame rates. Not that horrible frame rates
are uncommon in pre-release software...but nothing to drool over either.
The PS3 has a lot of promise but virtually nothing to get excited about so
far...that is unless dev kits make you all hot and bothered.
