I'm afraid that after ten years of wondering why so many Japanese drink and
drive; don't make their children wear seat belts; regard the 'amber' light
as a warning to speed up; and cannot bear to ever, ever under any
circumstances slow down at a busy intersection to allow a large truck to
cross the traffic so the snake of cars behind it can move along - I'm all
out of anger and (road) rage.

I just think the natives are plain stupid.

It's Obon now of course - absolutely the very worst time of the year to be
out on the roads - stay safe, stay indoors, stay cool, watch the Olympics.
