If my memory serves me correctly the Fuji s5000 doesn't have on board
memory to retain the camera date setup, so every time time you change
the batteries you have to reset the date otherwise your new batch of pix
will start at 01.01.0?.
Best bet would be the s5500 with more options, more asa, imo an
excellent camera.
