Since the original reference was to Clinton ("... after 8 years...")
then 'academic' applies. And I figure anyone who at the very least has
actually gone to war (regardless of how long and under what
circumstances) stands much higher in my regard than a man whose
morality and patriotism guided him to party and pick up chicks under
the guise of being a military pilot.
