When I taught ESL I knew plenty of gaijin that played in courses
through the week, and while I don't remember the fees, I recall that
they weren't paying much compared to weekend rates.

My wife and I are trying to scratch some money together for a trip
sometime this autumn; since I have no hope of ever finding work, as
soon as the rates drop (should in the next few weeks) we're going to
get some tickets. I'll probably have to find someone to go with,
unless my wife stops hating me enough to go with me. Unfortunately my
father in law and none of her relatives play.
