I can think of 3 or 4 things in life I'm bitter about, but none of them
involve my life in Japan, job etc. You mentioned a hotel - a group of
people here are thinking about building a hotel since the Meitetsu hotel
closed down leaving only the New Grand to cater for the upper end of the
market. If we go ahead I'll probably buy a few shares, do the website
stuff, but until I'm sure that the rest of my life is going to be here
or hereabouts, no way am I going to buy something I can't sell quickly
and easily, or that doesn't come with capital gains.

I think Kevin's house is in America, so perhaps he just went to a bank,
flashed his winning smile and walked away with a nice mortgage.
