If its in May then prolly not much more than a few days. If its
September then should be able to manage 10-14 days. Problem is that she
can't fly very far, so it needs to be somewhere within 3 hours or so.

I asked a few minutes ago (was too tired earlier, plus wanted to think
about it). It is just the suit/backpack combination. Okazaki gaigin wear
backpacks (and jeans). Chicago and Tokyo gaigin wear suits (and carry
briefcases and the like). For whatever reason, a large number of Nagoya
gaigin wear suits and backpacks.
