That was long ago, and you didn't try Skype! I call USA, Canada, Belgium,
Austria, Germany, UK almost every day. The connection is usually GOOD!!!
Try it and you'll believe me...
An ADSL connection is better, but I communicate with a friend in India who
uses a 64K ISDN line.
If you need to call Indonesia, use a normal telephone, however.
All youn need is a better headset with built-in mike, or a USB phone that
eliminates the occasional echo.
