I think it's more the 'it won't happen to me' syndrome. Besides, up
until this guy the Japanese had a pretty good record, hostage-wise.
I'm still curious about that open route between Jordan and Iraq. I
assume it's being monitored by somebody and I hope it's allowed to exist
in an attempt to trap somebody important. But I have no basis for that
assumption, only hope that we're not letting any tom, dick, and mohammed
in to fight the infidels.
