Tokyo is about 300 kilometers from where Stuart will be for most of his
stay. The only compatible ATMs will be those of the local Post Offices.
The nearest Shittybank ATM is nearly an hour and a 1600 yen return fare
away. Bringing IMOs as a backup to the visa card is a reasonably good
idea for someone whose local banks seem fairly poor with regards to TCs
and transfers.
