XPee runs on a PII 266 - I know 'coz I've got one sitting on my computer
rack.  It doesn't run especially fast but it's not like treacle.  That's a
266 desktop - I also have it installed on an old 266 Fujitsu Notebook (192mb
RAM) and that's OK too.

BTW these are all FULL installations - I have absolutely no idea where you
get 500 MHz/1 gb RAM as a minimum spec for running Internet Explorer!  I've
had it running fine on the 266 with just 96mb RAM - not running fast - but
fast enough for basic surfing and e-mailing and ftp serving.
