What about a long lazy and more than somewhat boozy & decadent lunch
in Kobe on the 27th? Its a Tuesday. Thats close to Himeji, and what
else could there be to do?

Indeed. At some stage or other I would to go the onsen up further
north. Shiota or sumthin. And spend some time in the mountains of
Hyogo, where dialects run right off the scale.
