Oh, sorry. Potability. The valley we're in has been used by Japanese
farmers for a little over 100 years, so I'm sure they've used every
chemical they could buy on the fields at one time or another, and I'm
not sure what remains in the water supply (or for that matter, what new
chemicals are being introduced now).
Also some of the land near us is now being worked by an absentee
corporation, for whom maintaining the land as a place to live is
completely unimportant. They just want yield, which means they'll use
whatever they can (plus a bit more). Its kind of worrisome.
