I was wondering has anyone in this group every researched this topic
for a college project or anything. I know that abortion exists in
Japan, but I was wondering is there any stigma attached to it, are
Japanese on the by and large pro-life or pro-choice, do Japanese people
frown upon married women having abortions and so forth????

I'd appreciate any input/opinions you guys might have on this.

{My background: I'm from Ireland but I lived in Japan for a number of
years. A lot of my Irish friends still live there and one of them
encountered an interesting situation with her japanese boyfriend
(pertaining to the above) recently and we're just trying to make sense
of it all.}
