Just had the opportunity to steal it I guess. Have a new phone. Gaijin
card on the way. Got new driver's license today. No new cashcards or
credit cards yet. Its a real inconvenience.

The lack of common sense is a problem. But I'm increasingly irritated
by seeing news reports with the name of the journalist, followed by
the byline "Tokyo", when I know they have left. Or companies that have
evacuated their foreign staff (but left the Japanese staff to hold the
fort, deal with the customers etc, or in some cases, forced the local
staff to use up their paid leave without any fair reason!). Why should
anyone in Japan trust them or do business with them ever again?
