Not just television programs and media reports; while Americans are
determined to determine the future for the rest of the world, it is
often done without the slightest attempt to understand factual
history. Our collective disposition, unlike some other countries, is
neither disposed nor prepared to scrutinize factual historical events
without resorting to crude, self-serving historical revisionism.
