The e-mail message thing ought to be a snap (I am no expert) If you have a 
network  just take everything and copy it over then install XP then copy it 
back.  You can export your address book.  Or drag and drop all your old 
wanna keep messages onto a flash card or cdr.
I am having a problem with my OE and there seems to be no download short of 
reloading XP.
