Yeah but for a while there it seemed like I wasn't gonna go anywhere.
People started out in a whole different direction.  Luckily it sparked
into something.

Actually I was expecting a bigger response from here.  Turned out to be
the other way around.  I constantly read the archives of this group
(around 1998-2002) and there were a lot of great discussions that went
on here.

Yeah I agree here.  I think their trickery was more for protection at
the start, and was for 3rd impact for Kaoru.

I think Kaoru got all introspective at that point, and realized that it
was probably better for the humans to inherit the earth; they're more
worthy.

Well, in a way...  yes and no.  Rei had Adam inside her and took it to
Lilith. Boom.  She then went to Shinji and allowed him to direct 3rd
impact.

But I think if one of the 3-16 angels found Lilith, and actually
merged, it may have been violent, but not all impacty.
