There is no charge for admission, but Noah Berry, proprietor of the Broken Drum Brewery, will also donate proceeds from food and drink sales to Trips for Kids. Each year Trips for Kids takes hundreds of inner-city kids from the Bay Area on guided mountain bike adventures, many of whom have never been outside of their urban neighborhoods. In 1999 Trips for Kids became a national program. There are now 65 chapters operating in the United States, Canada and Israel.. All proceeds from our sale will go to support this great cycling program. If you miss the sale, please note that the Re-Cyclery Bike Thrift Shop at 610 4th Street in downtown San Rafael is open throughout the year Tuesday - Friday noon - 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. For more details about the fundraiser or about Trips for Kids call 415/458-2986, e-mail info@tripsforkids.org or visit http://www.tripsforkids.org.
