We have a report from the fj.life.in-japan Dynamics Officer that CL has
exploded. Flight director confirms that:

I'd certainly mow down the empty land next door, if I was authorized to, but it
belongs to Kansai Power, so I have to sit around and wait until they get around
to it. They finally did last weekend -- it was like night and day around here
after that. The bug count was reduced by half at least.

I have plenty of land to worry about keeping pruned back anyway, up at the
garden. You can almost *see* the vegetation growing out there.
