Have your father call my father, he'll set him straight on world politics
and economies. He used to teach these things @ our local PUBLIC high school.

I have a friend who would viciously disagree with you on this point, saying
that Russia exists because of it's people, not it's govenment. Russians are
Russians, not Communist Russians or Democratic Russians, just Russians! BTW,
he also says there are no true Americans or Canadians or Mexicans beyond the
aboriginal peoples here already when the first Europeans arrived. So,
Disaster, you're neither Canadian or Austrailian, mearly a displaced
Englishman (like me). Personally, I disagree, but unlike you, I accept
discussion on different views (or Truths).
