well of course theyre not just going to drop the PS2, and yeah it will
become a "budget" system like the PSOne did, but at the same time they
can support it for as long as they like, the honet truth is that
18-months to 2 years after the PS3 is out, all the PS2 will see is
crappy budget games and re-releases.

i think the last "new" PSOne release was FIFA 2004, that or one of the
DanceUK games.

they wont push the PS2 as a portable machine, mainly because it isnt
portable. sure they'll flog screens and in car PSU adaptors, but their
main focus for it will be the budget sector.
