A few years ago a lion escaped from a circus somewhere up in the
Tohoku region. I forget exactly where. Anyway, the decision was made
to kill it. The police didn't have anything with the necessary oomph
to do the job, so they had to recruit a local hunter to do the job.

Kinda comforting, when you think about it.
