Most drives which are NOT cable select and compatible interface (IDE ATA-33
for example) should work. The slimmer drives too. I think yours is a 17mm
height & the slim are 12mm.
As for capacity, keep in mind FAT32 partition size limits for convenience.
Accessing the BIOS isn't necessary, the laptop does it automatically. Most
Toshiba's BIOSes can be accessed by pressing escape during boot. Or
download the utility from Toshiba.
