Not relevant.  There will likely be a lot of people who buy a PS3 for
other reasons, then see FF12 on the shelf and decide to try it out
since they've seen so much masturbation over the series for the past
few years.  And then of course there are the people who already play
the games, but who would normally wait until they had a good reason to
go to the game store to buy FF12.

This could help Sony as well.  There are quite a few FF fans out there
with old PS2s that aren't running so well any more.  And with a new FF
coming out at about the same time as the PS3 (and, of course, the
near-certainty of more FFs coming out for the PS3 in the future), a
number of people will decide to get the PS3 along with their FF12
purchase instead of buying a slimline PS2 or just sticking with their
old one.
