I used to live in Japan.  Their culture is to believe all things Japanese to 
be better than non-Japanese.  Your probably best off getting someone to send 
you a HD from North America and doing the labor yourself.

Some things in Japan are so incredibly expensive yet others seem dirt cheap. 
Those 100 yen stores were amazing.
