To make matters worse, Mister Crun, it was not Irish Irony.
One must be very careful in taking an Irishman's words (or the words of one
of Irish descent) at face value.
Oftentimes we mean the exact opposite of what we say (which distracts the
*nglish no end).
But in this case, no Irony intended (however, it is possible this may be an
Ironic statement).
