excerpt:
"If a person can transform hardship into something positive, it is a source
of strength. Strength is meat. My mother and I write letters to one another
every day. We are intensely close and she is my absolute best friend. We
never open the letters we write. I have a closet full of letters from my
mother and she has years of letters from me. When one of us dies, the other
will have the letters to open and read, so it will be as if we are speaking
to one another from the grave. Death does not separate. It only reminds us
of what we've yet to learn."
