Ah, you didn't live in SF proper, then; it's easy to tell the seasons by
how cold and foggy it it. If it's cold, foggy, and rainy, it's winter. If
it's cold and foggy, it's summer. If it's cold, with intermittant sunny
days, it's fall or spring.
If it's warm, you're not in SF anymore.
