Cool. Now I have to get off my backside and get my own laptop weaned
off XP SP3 and on to Kubuntu.
Apparently, the modems eMobile is using are also in use elsewhere in the
world and there is setup info available if you know the "rest of world"
name. One of the TLUG members got a D02HW (Huawei USB type) working at
full throughput using instructions from a user in Italy. There might be
something in his setup that would help you ... or maybe you just have to
move closer to a tower.
BTW, Wayne (a.k.a. "rondonko") on the TLUG list is a Fedora UG help
expert -- the equivalent of an MS MVP or a Corel C-Tech -- so, he might
be able to answer specific Fedora-related questions.
