All drivers for this model are available here:-

http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/

Select the driver download section, then use the drop down boxes to
select Notebook > Satellite > M series > M30X

Download the lot & burn them to CD.

For BIOS updates, use the BIOS download section, same procedure.

Depending when you get the warning, the problem may be with the OS
installation, not the BIOS.

There is a product update warning here:-

http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/generic_content.jsp?service=EU&ID=PRODUCT_UPDATE_SAT_M30X

Spontaneous, random rebooting happens, apparently.

The Toshiba Utilities Program on the download page lets you change the
BIOS settings, & I'd *definitely* try this, resetting everything to
factory defaults before flashing the BIOS.

Also, try doing a clean install of Windows XP or Vista before you do
anything too drastic, installing all the drivers from the website. 90%
probablility of a cure, unless you've got broken hardware. If you can
find the CD that came with the machine, then use that to restore it,
making sure you've backed up your data. This will have the right drivers
on the CD & will install them for you.

Hope this helps.
