Totally against the licence, probably, but the licence key on the COA
label on the laptop should work with a full copy of whichever version of
XP was on the laptop. Then you need to track the drivers down, & you'll
find most of them on the Toshiba Canada website.

Unfortunately, XP Pro discs won't work with an XP Home licence key. (As
far as I know)

Most makers don't supply a full version of Windows on account of the
deal they make with Microsoft when they licence the software, so it's a
cost thing. It also cuts down support calls, as all the machines can be
instantly restored to a fully known configuration, which instantly cuts
out 90% of software uncertainties.

(I didn't tell you this;-))
