Which OS?

If Windows XP then download and watch the file jpn1.avi from here 
http://jonasan.biz/jpn/

You may have to restart.

If Japanese is not an option then that means you don't have support for East 
Asian Languages installed in the Languages menu tab of the Regional and 
Language Options.  Install it!
